World’s Heaviest Woman Has Lost 250kg After Surgery in India

An Egyptian woman, believed to have been the world’s heaviest woman, has lost 250kg in india. It took a crane to lift Egyptian Eman Abd El Aty’s into a Mumbai hospital in February.

She originally weighed 500kg and she had been unable to leave her home for 25years, she lost 242 kg after an operation to reduce the size of her stomach by three quarters.

Doctors say her weight was due to a rare genetic disease. The surgery was successful  that she can soon return to Egypt.
